Right back where I started

Well, I’m right back where I started in September. This time I have some incentive. My boyfriend and I don’t have a lot of money….I personally believe it’s because when I get paid he likes to talk me into going out to eat. Which is always expensive. We’ve started a contest that will run every 2 weeks. (falls on my payday) Whoever loses the most gets a new artical of clothing and man do I need some new clothes!!! Wish me luck because I plan on starting an exercise plan and he’s not so I think I’ll have the advantage in this one!

Getting back with the program

I’ve been making excuse after excuse and using that familiar “I’ll start my diet tomorrow” line that most of us are all too familiar with. Finally I’m tired of the excuses and I’m ready to get back on track. I started on this site in 2007 then I had some things happen in my life. I had a baby and I moved to a new place. I was doing really well with losing weight when I was first on here. I don’t know if I gave up or just kind of let myself go. I tell myself it was because I started taking birth control after Hailey was born. I figured it had to be that. There was no other reason for me to be putting on so much weight so fast. It was just another excuse…..I knew it was because I was getting up and eating ice cream in the middle of the night. I think I was just still in the pregnancy eating mode and I couldn’t switch it off. Now things are starting to calm down. My boyfriend and I have decided that even diet pop is going. I’m not a water drinker and I know it’s the healthiest thing a person can drink….so it’s time to suck it up and deal with it. I have 2 more cans of diet soda in my refrigerator. When those are gone they are gone. I’m starting with small steps that will hopefully lead to bigger ones.

I bought the wii fit not that long ago and much to my surprise I stepped on it after hunting for months at several different stores, only for it to tell me I exceed the maximum weight limit for the machine…so first and foremost I would like to hit that 329 lb mark so I can start using my 90 dollar machine that’s sitting in the box collecting dust. Sorry to babble it’s just been awhile.

I’m still at 311 according to the doctors scale so I’m not doing too bad. I’m staying the same weight at least and I’ve been eating a lot healthier for the babies sake. The doctor said everything looked fine and I’ll be going back in a few weeks so we’ll see how things go. :) with that said I’m going to go and relax for awhile I just got off work.

Healthy weight loss

Well, I haven’t seen a doctor yet but I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests and it turns out i’m pregnant…..2 or 3 weeks along. What can I do to still take off weight but stay healthy for my baby? I don’t want to jepordize it’s health.

a little off track but still doing alright

So i’m a little off track with the excersizing but I’m still losing weight. I’ve moved in with my mom who insists on waking me up with slim fast shakes at like 5 a.m. most mornings so while i’m not working out right now i’m doing healthier things when it comes to my eating habits. I had a hard time because the guy I was dating and living with and I split up…..I wasn’t able to eat for almost 4 days until my mom decided she had enough of me starving myself and finally made me eat something. I’ve been doing alright just on the go a lot. Spending a lot of my time away from home at a friends house about 45 mins away so we go out to eat quite a bit but I find myself making healthier choices when it comes to eating. The only problem is I’ve went back to drinking about once a week but I dance when I’m out so at least i’m burning some of that off. I guess that’s all I have to update for now.

Becoming obsessed with the scale

Ok, I’m becoming obsessed with the scale. Yesterday I drank a ton of water and the scale said I weighed 6 lbs heavier yesterday than I do today. I don’t get it. The battery isn’t low. The scale is bran new. Yesterday I started crying because saturday it said I weighed 310 and yesterday it said I weighed 314 and now today it says i weigh 308….so which one is it?!?! I’m getting really irritated and i’m hoping the more realistic weight is the lowest one but could it be because I had A LOT less water today than I had yesterday? Has anyone else had this problem? Should I just stay away from the scale until next week?

How much is realistic?

How much is a realistic weight amount to lose in a weeks time? I am hoping for 2-4 pounds but does that seem unrealistic?

Day 4

I worked out again yesterday…wasnt able to update because the net was down. Just wanted to let you all know I did work out……day 5 (sundays) today….is my rest day. No working out today but back on the horse tomorrow.

Day 3

OK I know you’re not supposed to but I weighed myself this morning and the scale said I lost a lb. I just had to say that. Reason why I weighed myself is because with the new scale it keeps your BMI according to ur weight and height etc so I got on there to set that up and I was amazed to see I lost a lb. I put it on my tracker because I was proud of myself but I’m going to do my best to try not to look again until my weigh in day which is wednesday. I did do my workout today also so I’m following through as I said I would.  :)

Day 2

I worked out again this morning again with the support of my boyfriend…..He’s really a great guy and I care for him more than I can even say with words. Today’s work out wasn’t as long as yesterdays but I guess they have it worked out like that in the cards that come with the total gym. I feel like I should be doing more but I don’t want to over do it either. I guess I just expect instant results and I probably shouldnt think like that. We went out to breakfast this morning and I guess you can say I cheated because I had scrambled eggs, toast, chopped steak and hashbrowns…but we decided we’d have one day a week to go out to eat so it wasn’t so bad. AND I didn’t order pop. I had water with lemon in it. I got a new scale and it said I weigh 5 lbs more than i did yesterday BUT i also weighed myself with all my clothes on and I had just eaten so I’m going to keep my weight marked at 311 and re weigh myself on an empty stomach in the morning. I’m taking slimquick and some pills that you take before bed called GHR 1000. Hopefully with a good diet plan and the exersizing I’ve been doing I’ll start shedding some lbs. I’m also going to measure myself because I know sometimes you can gain muscle weight and feel like you aren’t losing anything when you get on the scale. I guess this is all today. Just wanted to say I DID work out again and i did the whole thing without giving up.
